There are several theories about how the casino game of Roulette really was born, but none are completely certain. Many center around a 17th century French Mathematician Blaise Pascal. The one thing we feel to be true is that the game is from France as the word roulette is the French term for small wheel. Other historians feel that the game got its start in China and was exposed to Europe by Monks who traded with the Chinese merchants. Whatever its origins, the French are credited with developing the game which evolved into the forms of casino and internet based Roulette which we play nowadays.A result of the fact that Prince Charles of Monaco so enjoyed the game, Roulette speedily became just about the most popular gambling games to experiment with during the 18th century.
